The aim was to raise funds to pay for the turbine element of a micro hydro electricity scheme
proposed by PRACTICAL ACTION in the area of the mountain being climbed Alpamayo.

A small way of giving something back to the community who made the climb possible.

Alpamayo is an ice pyramid in the Cordillera Blanca set 5947m or 19511 ft above sea level.
